Savanna: tailored against spilling

The winter collection began with a single image: a savanna horizon where dry grass breaks under wind while the tree stays standing. Two opposing things in the same metre.

From there came the decision to build the collection on contrast. On one side, tailoring — sharp shoulders, coats that hold their shape, trousers with a front crease. On the other, the spill — long skirts, wide knits, silk that does not resist the body.

Materials were chosen to serve that tension: wool, leather, baby drill, knitwear and silk. Each fabric was given a role, not just a texture.

Leather never appears as a whole coat but as a detail: a pocket, a cuff, a strap. It marks the hardness without taking over.

The palette stayed earthbound throughout. Sand, ash, deep black. When colour speaks less, the cut speaks more.
