Summer 17: eight looks in Tel Aviv
Satin, leather and printed pleats, shot at the marina, on a rooftop and in a wooden stairwell. How the collection that introduced the label was built.
The summer collection was built around three materials only: satin, leather and printed pleats. That restriction was a decision rather than a constraint — with fewer materials, the cut has to work harder.
The first look is the simplest: an off-shoulder ruffle blouse and tailored shorts, both in white cotton. It was chosen to open the collection because it sets the scale — everything after it answers to it.
From there the collection hardens. The black satin wrap dress introduces the asymmetric drape that returns later, and the leather mini brings the structure: a built bust, straps that hold, silk lining inside.
The printed pleat is the thread that connects. The same print appears as a bandeau with trousers, and as a top with a nude leather skirt. One cloth, two statements.
Everything was photographed in Tel Aviv alone — the marina, a glass entrance, a wooden stair, an old door. The city is not a backdrop but part of the palette.
